Words with four letters are used as fill-ins or keywords in Changelist. To win, players must recognize the correct sequence of four-letter words. Each word differs from the ones that came before it by only one letter. The game will not only keep your mind active, but it will also help you expand your vocabulary. Changelist can be used to challenge yourself or to engage in healthy competition.
It's helpful to be able to input and change words as you move through the puzzle, but if you enter the penultimate word to work backward, it will give you a red X if the word before it is blank. I also broke the game by getting it to accept a solution with a missing letter.
Its gameplay is really simple and somewhat similar to the Weaver game:
Step 1: Find a word that differs by one letter from the first word and insert it into the tile. (Please bear in mind that you can only change the letters, not their positions.)
Step 2: Repeat the process with the next word.
Step 3: Repeat the previous steps until you can complete the ladder with the second word given.
If a letter matches the second word in each new word given by the player, it will be colored green.
