Nerdle

What is Nerdle

Wordle, a popular word puzzle game, served as inspiration for Nerdle. In response to Josh Wardle's Wordle's popularity on a global scale in 2021, a group of like-minded individuals (identified on the website as Richard and Imogen Mann, Marcus, Gavin, and Alex) decided to create a math puzzle game. When Nerdle was released in 2022, it met the demands of puzzle lovers who felt left out by Wordle's focus.

Similar to Wordle, you look for the right "term" every day. The term in this game, however, refers to an equation that demands precision in mathematics. Each tile could have a number or a mathematical symbol. Green tiles indicate that you have placed the correct number or symbol.

A purple tile indicates the right number or symbol, but it needs to go someplace else in the arrangement.

Gameplay

Wordle users should be aware of its core premise even though it emphasizes numbers rather than letters.
You have six chances to guess the answer of the day, much like in The New York Times game. Once you've submitted your first attempt, a series of colored suggestions will show you how close you were.

Characters that don't appear at all in the total will be displayed in black, while those that do appear but are misplaced will be displayed in red. Finally, any numerals or signs that you correctly identified will become green. You return to the puzzle and continue working on it using the information from your last guess until you either find the solution or run out of attempts.

Nerdle gives you six chances to get the math correct, much like Wordle does. Don't quit up if you can't solve the puzzle on your first attempt. Math enthusiasts will undoubtedly adore this game.
