Pokedoku
What exactly is Pokedoku?
Pokedoku is an enthralling online puzzle game that combines basic Sudoku gameplay with the beloved Pokémon world. Pokedoku, unlike classic Sudoku, requires you to fill up a 9x9 grid using Pokémon rather than numbers. The goal is to fill each row, column, and 3x3 box with the correct Pokémon without making any mistakes.
Gameplay
- The goal of the game is to fill in all nine boxes with the correct Pokemon!
- You only have nine guesses, so choose wisely! There's no room for error.
- If the box falls between the Fire and Fighting categories, you can put Blaziken, Infernape, or any Pokemon that is both of those types.
- You can't use a Pokemon again or change your response once you've used it. For example, if you see that a Pokemon can fit in two different boxes, be sure you choose correctly because your answer is LOCKED after you submit it.
- Pokemon types will always appear in the first two columns and three rows. Our unique column, which will include (different regions, legendaries, and other objects), will be the third column.
- When a Pokemon's special column matches a kind, it DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THAT KIND. The Pokemon can have two types as long as one of them corresponds to the type in the correct row.
- When a certain region is designated as a category, you must include a Pokémon from that region. For example, while you can capture Pidgey in a variety of regions across various video games, Pidgey will only count for Kanto. Mega Evolution Pokemon will be located in the region where the original form of the Pokemon was discovered for the time being. Both Mega Charizards, for example, will be classified as Kanto.
- Legendary is a specific column we have. That column will feature Legendary, Mythical, and Ultra Beast Pokemon.
- It's perfectly fine if you didn't get all nine right! You can always try again the following day. We produce a new problem at random every day at midnight EST!
