Taylordle, which is similar to Wordle but incorporates words related with the artist, was unveiled by the Holy Swift podcast hosts on Friday, Jan. 28. Taylordle is a game that gives the song "Blank Space" a whole new meaning.
Wordle is an online word game that is completely free to play. In six attempts, players must correctly guess a five-letter word. With each attempt, the game employs colored tiles to display which letters were input successfully. (I'll elaborate later.) The game is renewed every 24 hours.
Taylordle is Swifties' unofficial Wordle. It's similar to Wordle in that it provides players six chances to correctly guess a secret five-letter word using colored tiles, but each day just one new word is added. Taylordle differs from Wordle in that the qualifying five-letter words are related to Swift and her songs. Holy Swift declared in a tweet, "All of the words are part of the Swiftie universe."
Wordle allows you to accomplish the same thing. You'll have six chances to guess a five-letter term related to the singer properly. If you put in "music," for example, you'll see whether any of the letters you used are highlighted in green, yellow, or gray.
Green signifies that a letter is present and in the correct position in the secret word. Yellow indicates that the letter exists in the word but is in the incorrect location. Finally, gray signifies that the letter is absent from the term. While the normal game is difficult enough, some players take it a step farther by utilizing Wordle on hard mode.
When you're through, tweet your findings to see how you compare to other Swifties. There's always tomorrow if you don't catch the message now. As Taylor Swift once stated, "Shake It Off."
