Chessle

What is Chessle?

Chessle is a Wordle spin-off for chess fans. You have six chances to properly guess a game's whole starting sequence. It's a nerdy game that, like Wordle, makes you think about chess a lot. The idea is simple: you guess the first three movements that white and black will make, and Wordle-style color codes show you where you went wrong and where you did right. If a player wants to change the game's difficulty, he or she can choose between Normal and Hard.

Rules of the Game

The rules are simple: enter an opening of your choice and enjoy the gorgeous colors! Normal Mode (3 moves per side) and Expert Mode (5 moves per side) are both available.

You have six guesses, and a new Chessle is generated every day at 12 a.m. PST.

Chess can be played in two modes: ordinary and expert. Normal play requires each player to guess three movements for each color. In expert mode, you must develop five moves for each hue. You may choose whatever mode you want. If this is your first time using it, use the usual mode. To have a great time, make sure to follow the directions above.

A chessboard with black and white pieces will be provided. Both the numbers and the letters will be displayed on the board. On Chessle Wordle, click on the piece. The move you choose will be displayed inside the box. Most of the time, you'll have to choose three moves for each try, for a total of six.
