Footle

What is Footle?

Footle is more than a game; it's an experience that necessitates a quick wit, a thorough understanding of football, and a talent for creative thinking. Participants are shown a concealed football-related term or the name of a great player. Their mission is to solve the riddle in six attempts, each of which is rewarded with a colorful response indicating how close their estimate was to the correct solution.

The Rules of the Game

The use of color-coded tiles to provide visual feedback after each guess is at the heart of Footle. Let's have a look at what each color represents:

  • Green: Excellent guess! When the tiles turn green, it implies you're coming closer to the correct solution. Feel the thrill of adrenaline as you get closer to victory.
  • Yellow: You're on the right track, but not quite there yet. The yellow tiles suggest that your guess has something in common with the concealed word or player's name.
  • Gray: I'm out of tries. Unfortunately, if the tiles turn gray, you've exhausted your options without discovering the solution. But don't worry, the exhilaration of Footle ensures that success is never far away.
