What exactly is an NFL Grid?
The NFL Grid has taken the sports world by storm, offering a one-of-a-kind challenge that combines players, teams, awards, and season stats into a strategic and engaging puzzle. In this brain teaser, players must be matched with specific criteria, ensuring they meet the requirements for both rows and columns. Let's take a look at this intriguing idea and see how it engages football fans in a novel way.
The Rules of the Game
The NFL Grid is an enthralling mix of NFL history and trivia in which you must correctly place players in cells based on specific criteria. The following are the main guidelines:
- For a player to be considered valid for a team's roster, he must have played in at least one NFL regular season game.
- When dealing with cells that involve teams and awards, the award must have been won after 1999. The player does not have to be on the team when they win the award.
- For cells involving teams and season stats, the player's recorded stat must be from a season after 1999. The player did not have to be on the team when they achieved the stat.
- When filling a cell with a stat, the player must have achieved that stat in a completed NFL season/game from 1999 or later.
- If a cell refers to a college and a season stat, the player must have been drafted from that college and achieved the specified stat in the NFL, not during their college career.
